Went for a bike ride with the kids yesterday - rode for about an hour (6.2 miles). Rylie rode behind me and conveniently stopped pedalling as we hit the hills. It was super windy, which made it quite entertaining.
Didn't really do any workout stuff today. But I did get fitted for my new running shoes. They put me on a treadmill and even video taped me so that we could look at the way I was running and figure otu what kind of support I needed etc. Ended up with a nice pair Asics, and I'm excited to try them out. Think I might try to get out for a run tomorrow, but may end up riding in the basement.
Mom, dont' know why I didn't think of this before, but you should really go get fitted for pair of shoes if you're doing any running, especially with your knee issues. There's all sorts of things that they can do to help your gait and keep body parts in line. They're not the most inexpensive things in the world, but totally worth it, once you have a good pair. Plus who can put a price on your body?!?
