RLT 2/10

Come out, come out wherever you are!!

Today I changed up my routine thanks to the new subscription to Fitness Magazine. Most of the things in there are geared to young people, but some modification is necessary for me.

First thing I did that they recommended was to eat a little fruit or something before I exercise. So I had a banana with my coffee. (Was hard cause I don't like to eat right away.) Need to have breakfast after I post. It is important I guess to eat shortly after exercise, works better for your body.

Anway my workout was on the treadmill and this is what they suggested. Warm up for 10 min at an easy pace. (I did between 3.5 and 3.7mph) Intervals Sprint for 30 seconds (I got up to 6.5mph.. ... surprised me), recover at an easy pace for 1 minute. (between 4.5 and 4.3) Repeat 10 times for 15 min. Cool Down cool down for 5 min at an easy pace. (between 3.7 - 3.0)

They also have a section on resistance training and I did a few, but realized that it was too much, so that will be my workout tomorrow.
