So today all I did was walk Buster this morning for a whopping 10 minutes, but it was something I guess. Did strength training yesterday - combined things from P90x, but that turned out to be not the best idea. Something in those workouts sets off my neck issues. I thought that it was responsible when I hurt it before we moved and steered clear of finishing the program. Over the last coupl of weeks I did a little bit of stuff without a problem, but when I did the routine yesterday, my neck went goofy. Think it is related to either push ups or pull ups. I'm not sure which one, b/c I totally toned down the weights, reps etc. But did notice that the pushups were challenging and tightened up my neck / shoulder area. Long story short, I was in pain last night. Ziggy rubbed my neck / shoulder and I put heat on it too. So today it was better, but still not super. So that's why I skipped working out today.
Plan on going to the group swim in the morning. It'll be interesting to see how my neck reacts, since last time I swam it was a little tense. I'll keep you posted. Plan on really working on my therapy from the chiro and continuing my visits with him.
CCT - looks like you've been busy. Don't think there's anything wrong with less cardio - different stuff is always good. Keep you refreshed.
Mom - don't beat yourself up for 30 minutes. As someone near and dear to my heart would say - you're not 20 or 30 anymore so you can't act like it. (you always say something similar to Dad). Just listen to your body. If it's tired after 30 minutes, then stop. It's more about being consistent and getting regular exercise whether its 10, 30 or 90 minutes. Keep your body moving and it will pay off.
