CCT Update

Oops, sorry I've been MIA for a few days...

On Tuesday I ran for 30-40 min I think (don't remember details, think I did 1 min moderate, 1 min fast, repeat) and then practiced the sequence I was supposed to practice teach this week for 45 min.

Wednesday: an hour and 40 min of the Ashtanga primary series, an incredibly acrobatic, twisty/topsy-turvey, physically challenging sequence (which naturally, I love!) easy for me to get self-competititive/judgmental however...something to work on!

Thurs: 35 min of running (2 min moderate, 1 min fast, etc.) and 30 min of strength/core exercises.

Breakfast sandwich, mom: toast an english muffin (or two pieces of high fiber bread) and spread with homemade lowfat pesto (I gave you that recipe i think), or laughing cow cheese, or even better, dill and herb goat cheese (2 points for a ton of it, and it's to die for!). Add a bunch of veggies (try spinach, sundried tomatoes (not oil-packed), tomato, roasted pepper, grilled onion, etc.) and either a sunny side up egg or a few egg whites cooked omlette style...sunny side up is probably better cause the yolk will be all oozy and delicious). Nummy and not sweet, which i know you like! ;)

Meghann, all I can say is DO MORE YOGA. the more i do, the more i realize how much happier my body (and mind!) is and how much healthier that approach to my body is...your back and shoulders will thank you tons with all that running/pounding/hunching over a bike! :)
