Hi there!
Sorry about that weird empty post. Also sorry I haven't posted all weekend: my computer at home was being fickle and I was fed up with screwing with it.
On Saturday I ran for 30 min, doing speed intervals (1 min moderate, 1 min fast) for 15 min and then drills for 15 min (1 min high knees, butt kicks or side skips, 1 min moderate run). Then I biked with hills for 12 min and did about 30 min of core exercises.
On Sunday I ran for 30 min with 3-part speed intervals and went to this fun, unorthodox 75 min yoga class at my studio.
This morning I ran for 25 min with hill intervals (2 min moderate, 1 min slightly slower with a 3.0 incline) and then biked for 15 min with hills. Then I did 30 min of leg-focused strength training. During all this I unfortunately discovered that my new tennis shoes give me blisters :(
Meghann, I totally do the same thing with meditation podcasts (except I usually listen at work when I'm doing a routine procedure, or when I'm cleaning the yoga studio...I need a little more pep to keep me going when I'm running!) It's very nice, even if I'm not actually meditating, and I like to think it helps a little ;)
Mom, what did you think of the pancakes?
Love you both! :)
