CCT weekend

Hello!
Sorry for the late post here...let's see what I recall:
Saturday I went for a 10 mile hike in Shenandoah Nat'l Park with some friends from teacher training: way fun with bouldering and exploring and philosophy reading at lunch ;) The last quarter mile was dead uphill though: man was that a treat for the hamstrings! I'm convinced that yogic breath was the only thing that got me up! I similarly burned all those calories and then ate them all back in the form of Cold Stone ice cream...whomp, whomp...and then I came home and munched some more! What is my deal? I think this may be the end of my ice cream days: it just seems to set me off in ways that never end well! :(

Sunday I ran for 25 min in the morning at a constant pace and then went to an Acro Yoga workshop from 1:30 to 4: lots of fun, though I probably shouldn't have spent the money...but I was down in the dumps after doing poorly on my GRE practice test that morning, so it was a good pick-me-up. Then I went to the park for a while before cleaning and did more Acro!

Needless to say, my body loved me this morning...so I did an hour and a half of yoga (tried to take it gently, but I do love my sweaty flow practice...) Feeling much better now though!

Good weather here too: getting psyched for as much outdoor fun as possible!

Oh Mother, where art thou??....

Miss and love you both!
