Hi There!
Sorry I've been MIA: it's been crazy around here! (But in a good way, finally!) I've seriously felt so much better just since stopping that stupid pill...I don't know if it's all in my head, just knowing I'm off it, or if it really is different, but I don't care at this point: it just feels good to not feel like I'm spiraling off a cliff!
So here's what I've been up to:
Sat - went for a really nice long run on a path near the place where I'm cat-sitting. Ran for 80 min, so I'm guessing it was probably about 8-9 miles. Felt wonderful and the weather was gorgeous, though my hips and knees definitely begged to differ the next day -- running outside is SO different from the treadmill, and it's been a long time since I've done that distance. (On the topic, what's this run Mom's congratulating you on, Meghann? I'm confused...) Also went out dancing in heels Sat night, so my legs HATED me Sun morning!
Sun - hiking in the morning - pretty moderate and chill, but very pretty and nice. Then went to a power yoga class before cleaning. Wasn't super "power", but it felt great and I needed it!
Mon - Ran for 30 min with 3 part speed intervals and stretched (had to be into work early)
Tues - I did about 60-70 min of Tai Chi/Qi Gong this morning! (From a video I got from the library: I liked it a lot, and surprsingly even sweated a little bit...though that may have been from the humidity...) ;)
Anyway, very proud of you Mom for both the bike ride and for still getting out and walking! Keep up the good work!
