CCT 4/21

Hi there, good to see you back!

I'm sorry to hear about all the craziness, but I'm so proud of you for still keeping up with your workouts and finding time to post on the blog in spite of all of that! I didn't realize that YOU are doing the Tae Kwon Do: I thought that was the kids! Very cool: great cross-training, and sounds fun! :)

Ambidextrous breathing sounds interesting and hard! Cool that it helps slow your heart. Remind me to share with you some pranayama practices (breath control) that I learned that you might like: they really help increase your breath capacity, which would be great for your training and endurance (not to mention that they really help slow down the brain too...which I always need!) Glad to hear you enjoyed the Elsie: I know it doesn't always feel like a "real" workout, but you'll be amazed what it can do for you! Keep those hard-workin' muscles limber! ;)

Yesterday I ran for only 20 min at a constant pace (tried to do intervals but my tummy wasn't very happy...think it might have been the eggplant in the previous night's yummy dinner) :( then I walked for 20 with hills and did 25 min of cross training (weight circuits with jump-roping without a rope in between sets)
Today I ran for 30 min with 3 part speed intervals and biked ofr 10 with hills, then did about 20 min of all-over strength training.

I TOTALLY understand about the impatience with not getting your own workout in...you're better at letting it go than I would be, so pat yourself on the back for that. It would make me crazy, absolutely nutty-tooney, which is something I need to work on...yet another reason why pigs will have to fly before I could be a good mother! yikes!

Miss you tons, hope we can talk soon! Love you!
